Soca superstar Machel Montano took to Twitter to dispel rumors that he was killed in a motor vehicle accident.
A doctored photo of the “Pum Your Flag” artist has been making rounds on social media sites and BB messenger, which what purported to be injuries from the crash.
That sent people posting #RIPMachelMontano on Twitter.
The artist who will celebrate his 37th birthday next month reassured fans via Twitter that he is alive and kicking:
“Hey all , just woke up on the west coast so I’m just seeing this ! I’m Alive and well ! Thank you for your concerns.”
He added a pic (above) captioned: “I’m alive and well thank you”.
Late last year the artist warned fans of a fake Twitter site claiming to be him.
BTW Machel will be going back to court on November 23, to hear the ruling on charges stemming from a 2007 assault charge. His co-accused are Kernel Roberts (son of the late Lord Kitchener), Rodney “Benjai” Leblanc and Joel “Zan” Feveck.
