Happy Birthday Miss Dominica 2012 Miss Caribbean World 2012 & Miss Jaycees 2012 NADIRA LANDO!!!!!

Nadira Lando turns 20 today!!!!

A descendant of Dominica’s indigenous people , the Kalinago (some may know them as Carib Indians), she won the 2012 Miss Dominica Pageant with poise and grace, copping awards in six categories: Best Spectacular Creation, Best in Spectacular Creation, Best Talent, Best Swimsuit, Best in Swimsuit, Best Evening Wear and Best in Evening Wear.

In May she won the Miss Caribbean World title in Tortola along with win s in the Miss Photogenic, Best Costume and Best Swimsuit categories

Though she did not win the Miss Carival in St. Vincent, (and did not take part in Miss Caribbean Culture) she did get the crown at another regional pageant:the Miss Jaycees pageant held in Antigua! At that show she captured the Best Modeling in the evening wear segment and Miss Photogenic categories.

She is a LOVER of Cricket and wants to he a lawyer someday! Hope you have a great day Nads!!!!!
