Adele Plans Post-Baby Getaway To Jamaica’s Goldeneye Estate

UK singer Adele has been working on the theme song for the new bond flick Skyfall and it seems that she just can’t get enough Bond!!!

According to the UK’s Sun, the singer, who is expecting her first baby with partner Simon Konecki, plans to visit Ian Flemming’s Goldeneye Estate in Oracabessa, St Mary.

“After working on the new Bond theme for over a year, Adele can’t get enough of the series,” a source was quoted as telling British newspaper.
“She came across Ian Fleming’s house when she was researching the spy series and now has her heart set on going there. Whether it’ll be suitable for her and a new baby, who knows, but she at least wants to visit.”

In 2008 19-year old Adele’s made her entrance on the music scene with her aptly tiled album 19. It featured two hit singles “Hometown Glory” and “Chasing Pavements”. The follow-up album 21 netted her an armful of Grammy Awards and hit singles, including “Set Fire to the Rain” and “Rolling in the Deep.”

Fleming came up with the Bond character in February 1952, at the holiday villa near the village of Oracabessa in Jamaica. He wrote all 14 Bond novels there and famously began his first 007 book, “Casino Royale” with the line: ‘The scent and smoke and sweat of a casino are nauseating at three in the morning’.

Fleming’s old estate is now owned by Jamaican hotel group Island Outpost, which was founded by Chris Blackwell – the man who ‘ discovered’ Bob Marley and helped spread his music across the globe.
