Well as they say there are three sides to every story, his side, her side and the truth…. Well in the case of Mr. Vegas’ babymama drama there may be four!
The long and short of it for ya’ll who do not know, is that Vegas has accused Shellian McBayne the mother of his 5th and youngest child has accused her of cheating on him and doing so in his home while their 1 year old daughter was at home.
He was very, very, very outspoken in terms of his rage and the disdain which he showed for this woman who he’s been with off and on for a good 5 to seven years.
So thanks to The Hype Life, I got to listen to the full audio of Shelli speaking to Raggashanti on his intenet talk show. She WAS NOT the one who called him. It was her sister who did so and then put her on the line. Though she was reluctant to speak at first, she went on to defend herself and for my part her story seems very plausible.

On What Prompted Vegas To go off on her online:

On Vegas Cheating ways:
I usually hear him have sex pon phone. him fly away and gone and him phone call me and mi sidown an mi listen to him a sex one next girl pon di phone. Ragga when mi ask di man say ‘Why you keep doing this to me?’ Him say if mi ever look inna di mirror yet and ask miself say why him cheat pon mi and say a my fault….. Ah nuh one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten woman Vegas have wid mi. Vegas lick mi down inna New York when mi pregnant Jacobi hospital in New York have di record when mi pregnant you know…over one gyal name Stacy mi an him a argue over…Ah nuh likkle bawl mi bawl! I did not cheat on him and even if mi did cheat pan him he deserve that backside!
On why she stayed in the relationship:
Because mi was in a high profile relationship and had a high profile break up already [she has one child with Mr. G] and mi tell miself you know what Shelli mek da one yah work. Mi have a daughter inna it and mi a try mek it work but this is the breaking point: when I found out that him and Stacy, she go a UWI, him a pay Stacy tuition and him and him son mother a fight because him wouldn’ pay di pickney school fee…but him a pay gyal school fee???
On whether Vegas caught her in bed with another man:
Di man did not catch me in bed with a man. The only thing that happen is, yes mi sleep in him house with a man. and understand is just di connection we have Ragga. We neva plan it. cause ah respectable man.. and I’m sure there are people that you know that know him who can vouch for him that he is a man a real man, him wouldn’t do that. I am admitting I was wrong to have sex in his house.
On whether it occured in front their daughter:
I wasn’t sexin in front my daughter. I would never do that. The child was asleep and then the child wonder ’bout and when she walk inna di room, mi jus draw di cover over miself
On reports that she is a gold digger:
Mi an him own a business .. Vegas say mi never work one day inna mi life … Google mi name and you will see say Clifford Smith and Shellian McBayne own a company name Vegas Music LLC. So how mi never work one day inna mi life? there are people out there who know say a mi use fi book fi Vegas. There are promoters out there who used to deal with me. A mi sign every check fi Vegas…. I am a very private, reserved person. Mi deh with Vegas 7 years and nobody nuh know wha mi look like. Mi nah dancehall girl ah go out an a wine up and all dem sitin dere. Mi nah little careless gal. Yes mi come from poor background but woman mi name so mi born lucky.
On when Vegas cut off his financial support:
It was last Thanks giving he cut off every cent. He cut off di card. Him go an tek di money outa di card and lef mi and mi daugta without money; and him say we can gwan stay inna him house. Mi find di love of mi life and it bun him backside cause I was di love of his life. He send mi email say him a go dun mi, say hima go immigration and mek dem deport me. Hes the high and mighty Mr. Vegas and mi ah one likkle ant say him a go crush mi.
On whether the boyfriend is a real doctor:
Mi nuh hide nutting from my boyfriend. Him know everyting and him ah come dog up di yout and talk bout him no real doctor ah Ragga type of doctor ..mi have di emails can send to you him send to me… mi can send you that bloodcl**t. [Ragga interjects to say that he has a PHD and he is a social scientist to which Shellian says: and he has a PhD too!] Ragga di yout [Mr. Vegas] doh have more than a first form education so him cyah understand dat, him neva finish school!
On how she feels about Mr. vegas actions online and people’s reactions to it:
Look how di man a diss mi up Ragga? Di mother of him chile! You know my daughter is gonna grow up and see alla dis. Unu kno say him a dog.. so why people a dog me??
On how he is as a father to their daughter Reina
He knows I will never stop him from seeing his child but he send me an email say I won’t even get a dollar to buy water but I can take care of my chile, mi nuh business. Attention di man a look Ragga. He don’t even call me and ask mi how she is before alla dis go down. If you love your daughter so much why are you doing this to your daughter’s future? Him doh spend no time with them [his other children] all him do is provide for dem and give dem whatever dem want.
Overall, she got increasingly upset as the call when on. Shellian stands by her actions and says that people who know her know she wouldn’t do that and she is not mad at people for being mad at her or taking his side as they are on the outside looking in. Raggashanti did ask her if there was a good side to Vegas. she said he has a good heart and would help anyone who is in trouble but he does not know how to separate Clifford from Mr. Vegas.

What she said pretty much confirmed what Bajan blogger Babbzy said in a recent vlog where she says she knows Vegas secrets including his jump off in Toronto (where she is located) and his man friend in Barbados and ray-tay-tay.
As for Vegas, he paid an early morning visit to Hot97 and spoke to DJ Cipha Sounds, Peter Rosenberg and Kfoxx and shed some tears and poured his heart out on the matter.
“It’s not just me, it’s my little daughter u know… is like my home was like a little heaven…After having kids all over, five different kids with five different moms… you’re like ‘Let me try make this a family.’ But if we’re together and I’m staying at your house…I would never take a woman to your house, in your bed, in front you kids.”
When they asked when they broke up, he said she called him Tuesday and said that she wants to break up because he gave her an STD.
In between dramatic pauses, he also dropped several bombs (no not the release of the sex-tape). He revealed that prior to the birth of their daughter, McBayne had married another man behind his back to obtain US residency. He mentioned that she (Shelliann) was molested and he says he’s afraid that he may never see his daughter.

Vegas, best you just stay quiet and ting and let this cool over. Dragging the woman in the dirt is not gonna make you get her back or make your relationship any better. Remember you two have a child to raise.
