Over the Labor Day weekend, Konshens took over New York City performing back-to-back shows around the boroughs. He started things off on Friday, August 31, performing at HOT 97′s On Da Reggae Tip concert inside Manhattan’s Hammerstein Ballroom. The following day he performed in both Brooklyn and the Bronx. The “Ready Fi Dem” artist returned to Manhattan Sunday, September 2 for sets at Mr. Cee’s Pre-Labor Day Extravaganza at Webster Hall and the famous BB Kings..
The dancehall sensation’s “Gal A Bubble” is currently in it’s fourth week at the number one spot on New York’s Reggae Chart. While in the city he also chatted with Hot 97′s DJ Enuff along with MTV Iggy and Mass Appeal about his whirlwind success.
