Alicia Key’s “Girl On Fire” is the title track to her upcoming album and though snippets of the song lend us to believe that it’s a hot track, she is enlisting rap diva Nicki Minaj to spit some fire on its remix.
Dubbed “Inferno” Nick’s remix is one of three versions of the song. Of course there’s the standard version and a “Bluelight”version. They will all be revealed Tuesday (September 4) when they hit digital retailers.
Alicia will debut the song live at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles on September 6. You can hear a snippet of “Girl On Fire” in the promo for the show below:
“Girl on Fire is about new beginnings, new perspectives and fresh starts… stripping away all the bad energy in your life and taking full control of the reins and how you want to live,” Keys said about her new record.
Meanwhile,the Girl on Fire album (her fifth) is due November 27 and features contributions from her hubby Swizz Beatz, Babyface, Pop & Oak, Rico Love, Jeff Bhasker, Gary Clarke Jr., Emeli Sandé, Jamie xx, and Sevyn.
