Trinidad & Tobago’s soca powerhouse Machel Montano features some serious heavyweights on his latest track “Make It Shake” featuring rap star Busta Rhymes, Olivia and Fatman Scoop.
and for those wondering yes, I consider Olivia a heavyweight in that as common a name as Olivia is, say that name and its quickly recognized so she musta done something right…
moving right along.. apart from Machel’s island roots Busta is definitely repping for Jamaica while Olivia has Jamaican and Cuban roots. Her label boss and the producer of the song is GRAMMY winner Jerry Wonda who is Haitian. Not sure if Fatman Scoop has island roots at all but we’ll make him an honorary West Indian if he doesn’t!!!
