The world’s fastest man EVER, Usain Bolt celebrates his 26th birthday today August 21, 2012.
Bolt is the reigning Olympic Champion in the 100m, the 200m and (along with his teammates) the 4X100m relay. At London 2012 He successfully defended gold medal wins in all three events. The five-time world champion is the first man to EVER win 6 Olympic gold medals in sprinting.
His 2009 record breaking margin for 100 m, from 9.69 (his own previous world record) to 9.58, is the highest since the start of fully automatic time measurements.
His achievements have won him fans around the globe as well as lucrative endorsement deals. Bolt is sponsored by Puma, Gatorade and Digicel.
In 2012 he was listed on Forbes list of wealthiest sports personalities at #63.
Bolt who is known to be a fete-loving, goofball is currently in England.
