Three gold medals were not enough for Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt. He wanted his world-record-breaking baton which he carried on the last leg of the mens 2x100m finals today.
When the Olympic official reached out to take the baton after he ran past the finish line, Usain held it to his chest and had it for a minute but officials eventually came and asked him for it.
Guess they had a change of heart cause it is coming home to Jamaica!!!
This is a piece of his personal history as well as Jamaica’s. Hopefully it can be on display somewhere prominent in the country.

Bolt and teammates Yohan Blake, Michael Frater and Nestar Carter took home gold with a time of 36.85 seconds. The first time any team has broken the 37 mark. Bolt ran his leg in 9.22s.
The U.S were second with 37.04. Team Canada originally came in third but due to their disqualification, Trinidad (37.12) copped bronze.
