Rihanna started off as a sweet-faced 16 year old from the sunny shores of the Caribbean. Fast-forward eight years and she is a tatted up (albeit tastefully done), frequently naked, sex symbol.
According to new Nivea CEO Stefan Heidenreich, she’s too sexy for his “family” brand. Speaking with German newspaper Welt he said: “Rihanna is a no go. “I do not understand how to bring the core brand of Nivea in conjunction with Rihanna.”
He added: “Nivea is a company which stands for trust, family and reliability.”
Hmm she posed NAKED for Niva’s 100 anniversary ad campaign, not to mention the company sponsored her LOUD tour where she wore sexy outfits and sang provocative lyrics. Also the company used her song “California King Bed” to promote their product. In the clip she is dressed in lingerie while she writhes in bed with her male lead.
SMH you would think she just tun sexy last month. Now Heidenreich was not Nivea CEO when Rihanna signed the endorsement deal with the company, but I guess the company considering her a “global music powerhouse” was not enough for him.
Of course the sharp-tongued Rihanna did not waste time in responding to his remarks. She posted a photo of him (below) with the words: “No caption necessary.”

#WOMP!
Here’s video from her LOUD tour above. Do you think Nivea is being hypocritical, considering????
