Reggae and Soca are indigenous to Jamaica and Trinidad respectively so considering that both islands are celebrating 50 years of independence in the month of August it is fitting to stage a musical event that showcases the best the islands’ musical offerings.
Enter reggae and soca royalty. Four sons of the King of Reggae Bob Marley will headline the concert dubbed House of Marley. Damian, Stephen, Ky-Mani and Julian Marley will bring their individual sounds as well as that unifying marley-esque vibe that only a son of this legendary reggae icon could have.
Representing for Trinidad will be a royal family of soca- Austin’Super Blue’ Lyons his daughter Fay-Ann, and her husband Bunji Garlin. also on the roster chutney soca superstar K.I.
