Karlie Redd seems to be the cast member of the Love & Hip Hop (LAHH) Atlanta reality series catching a bad rap for being messy and not being able to shut her mouth. Though she has her fans in her corner, the Trinimerican
aspiring singer has come under fire for speaking out of turn (AKA minding folks bizness) and being hypocritical.
She clashed with Mimi twice by alluding to her on-again-off-again boyfiend and baby daddy, Stevie J’s wondering ways. The first time she did that was pointing out the (obvious) chemistry between Stevie and his Protoje Josline Hernandez. Mimi confronts her, she basicallys says she didn’t know that Mimi and Stevie J were an item. Next thing she goes and asks Stevie J to produce her and when confronted by a jealous Joseline, rats out Mimi! A second time at K Michelle’s listening party, she points out to Mimi and the other ladies at their table a woman she thinks was sleeping with Stevie J. Who does that to their ‘friend’???
Anyhow on Monday night’s episode, she again approached Stevie J about working together and said her management team is Cash Money. Of course dropping the name of a record label like that one would think she was about to drop a mega hit considering Lil Wayne, Drake, Busta, not to mention her fellow Trinidadian Nicki Minaj are signed to the label. Instead she agrees to work with Joseline who she can’t stand, in order for her management to work with her. #Suspiciousmuch?
Well her record label-name dropping eventually got to Cash Money executive Mack Maine, who tweeted:
My phone’s blowing up about a chick reality show saying she signed to the fam…….
Tell the truth shame the devil
They put anything and anybody on tv…..wowzers
She spoke to Rosenberg (yes, the very one) Cipha Sounds and Kfoxx of Hot 97 the day after the episode aired stating that “Malcom Miles the VP of Cash Money is [her] manager”…and that family is the connection to Cash Money. She also cleared up comments she made about K Michelle after a heated verbal and almost physical (but oddly hilarious) fight ensued between them, and talked about hooking up with Benzino…
She also has a single out called “Girl Has Needs” ….typical, generic, straight out the pop factory…
keep trying tho…
