International superstars Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna and Shakira will perform during the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Azerbaijan. For all three this will mark their first visit to the country located at the crossroads of Western Europe and Eastern Asia.
Jennifer Lopez will perform at the Opening Ceremony in Baku, on 22 September. Rihanna will do likewise during the quarter-final match on 5 October at 19:30 local time at the Tofig Bahramov, while Shakira will perform on 13 October at 19:30 local time during the final match of the tournament at the same venue.
The performances will be organised by the Local Organising Committee of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Azerbaijan 2012 which runs from 22 September to 13 October.
