St. Lucian soca artist Ricky T released a statement of apology to fans via Facebook after failing to perform at “Lucian Invasion Ricky-T Live“ at Secrets nightclub in NY on Saturday.
I would like to inform my fans and suppprters that I will not be performing in Brooklyn, at club secrets tonight. Due to illness I was unable to travel to New York. I apologize and confirm that I will soon perform in New York for my fans. ~ Ricky T
His statement came after one was issued by the promoters to patrons giving their apologies while still stating they handled their end of the agreement with Ricky T.
To all our dedicated and loyal fans we Upscale Crowd Ent, Caribbeanfuse, Eventbug and all the DJ’s truly wish to apologized for the absents of Ricky-T Joseph at tonight’s Lucian Invasion Party. We the promoters made every effort to make sure all requirements were met. In spite of having an all expense paid round trip ticket and the contracted deposit amount paid to his manager Ian Sanchez, Ricky-T choose not to board the plane from St.Lucia yesterday. We regret any inconvenience caused.
