Cuban/American rapper Pitbull will soon star in his first animated movie alongside Pop/R&B Diva Beyoncé and Rock icon Steven Tyler.
The three musicians have been cast as animated characters in Epic- a 3D film project by Ice Age director Chris Wedge. Pitbull will voice a character called Bufo, Beyoncé will play Queen Tara, and Steven Tyler Nim Galuu. Other actors in the cast include Colin Farrell, Amanda Seyfried, Josh Hutcherson and comedian Aziz Ansari.
The movie follows the fortunes of a teenage girl who has to save the earth after she is transported into another universe.
Pitbull recently recorded the lead single for the “Men In Black III” soundtrack.
This is Beyoncé’s first film project since becoming mother to her and Jay-Z’s daughter, Blue Ivy Carter in January.
