Haitian-born actress Garcelle Beauvais has inked a three-book deal with Stranger Comics.
The children’s book series called I Am will address life issues. The first book “I Am Mixed” with co-author Sebastian A. Jones is coming out this fall. It will tell of a brother and sister and their mixed ethnicities.
A second book will be about children of divorce. Beauvais’ parents were divorced, and the single actress has been married twice.
Beauvais a mother of three is known for her roles on “The Jamie Foxx Show” and “NYPD Blue.” She currently stars in the TNT comedy-dramas series “Franklin & Bash.”
