Check out the clips from Marley below which show some of Bob Marley’s closest friends/associates (Neville Garrick, Bunny Wailer) talk about his competitive spirit and his love for football. They give insight into the initual struggles the Wailers had with getting on the radio and even shared some insight as to the origins of the song “Small Axe” real interesting stuff.
The documentary is the first film of its type endoresed by the Marley heirs. It was directed by Kevin MacDonald who bagged an Academy Award for his 1999 documentary “One Day in September” and Britain’s BAFTA for his 2006 feature about Ugandan dictator Idi Amin, “The Last King of Scotland”.
Marley has was screed at the Berlin Film Festival last month and hits US Theaters on April 20th.
