Sunday Feb. 12th saw a host of famous faces (and bodies) at the 5th annual GRAMMY Awards which was held at the Staples Center in LA. Many of those famous folks have roots in our wonderful Region which births sooooo many talented people. So here they are folks. Peep the Caribbean Celebs on the GRAMMY red carpet:
Riri’s back! Literally. Bajan pop star Rihanna showed some skin in this black Armani dress at this year’s event. The artist returned to the US after an extensive European tour and Hawaii vacation. She is supposedly recording in LA right now.
She also brought along her dad Ronald and her brother Rajad. Well, well Rajad wanted time to socialize…GRAMMYs is a good look. Go Rihanna, you def scored some big sister points last night!
There was another Bajan in the house. wheiz de scene LL? The GRAMMY-winning rapper hosted the show and started things off with a prayer for Whitney Houston who passed the night before.

Melanie Fiona represents for the Guyana massive at 54th GRAMMY awards. She won her first GRAMMY on Sunday night!
Jah know, each time the camera panned to Bruno Mars (Puerto Rico) I kept thinking Willy Wonka. LOL.
Producing duo Verse Simmonds and Shama Joseph of the Jugganauts. Repping for the USVI!!! (okay and Puerto Rico were Vese was born and Haiti where Shams roots are from Sak Pase!)
Alicia Keys and her hubby Swizz Beatz are repping for Jamaica and Puerto Rico respectively. I am loving her shoes. Werk!
