Dr. the Hon. Usain Bolt, Her Excellency the Most Hon. Lady Patricia Allen, and Dr. the Hon. R. Danny Williams are the official patrons of Pan Caribbean’s Sigma Corporate Run 2012 which be held at Emancipation Park on Sunday, February 19, under the theme ‘Play Your Part, Save A Heart’.
In observance of Jamaica’s 50th anniversary of Independence, Pan Caribbean hopes to raise $50m, in aid of Chain of Hope Jamaica’s cardiac programme at the Bustamante Hospital for Children.
The route for the 5.6K (3.5-mile) race is as follows:
The starting point will be at the PanCaribbean head office on Knutsford Boulevard and going along Waterloo Road then on to West Kings House Road, before turning on to Constant Spring Road.
The course will then take participants on to Suthermere Road and Hope Road, then on to Winchester Road and Ruthven Road. The final leg of the race continues on to Half-Way Tree Road and then Emancipation Park, Oxford Road, for the finish.
Registration is still open but if the maxim 15,00 participants is reached before the February 3 deadline, it will close early so register now!
If you can’t register, you (as in Digicel customers) can make a contribution by sending a blank text to 444-2498 to make a $50 pledge. If you are unable to text, don’t worry, you can make a donation at any Pan Caribbean Bank branch!
