Songstress and philanthropist Alicia Keys hosted her 8th annual Keep a Child Alive Black Ball in New York City last night, with performances from friends like Jay Sean, Will.I.am, Usher in hopes of raising awareness to the ongoing struggle of the widespread AIDS pandemic in India. Guests included Clive Davis, Queen Latifah, Serena Williams, Carmelo and Lala Anthony, media maverick and supermodel Tyra Banks, actress Kerry Washington, designer Michael Kors, and of course Alicia’s husband Swizz Beatz.
